Step 1 of 6
Quick navigation
What to do
Download and install BitVise from the official site, then launch the BitVise SSH Client (BvSsh).
Set up a new session:
- Enter the remote server's Host (IP or hostname) and Port (default 22).
- Choose your Username. If using password auth, leave key options blank.
- Under Authentication, select Password or provide a private key file.
- Click Log in to connect. Approve any host key prompts if they appear.
Tip: For key-based auth, convert OpenSSH keys to PuTTY format (if needed) using PuTTYgen, then load the .ppk in BitVise.
